Everyone needs to make something with their hands from time to time. Not with a mouse, not with a Wacom pen, not even with pencil on paper. Tactile learning helped your brain develop when you were still in diapers. Your receptors needed to touch objects of different structure, texture, and shape. Today we mostly hold a spoon, a mouse, a pen, a steering wheel. Give your hands some variety — they will pass that information to your brain. Shape a vase from clay, bend a wire sculpture, carve a Pinocchio from a broken chair leg, or simply glue stones into a pyramid. Break dry branches, pour sand, crumple paper… all of this enriches your subconscious toolbox, which in turn helps you in everyday work.
